When to Use This Feature

When you want to request truckload volume quotes from multiple carriers at once.

When your preferred method of carrier communication is via email rather than load boards.

When you want to capture carrier responses directly on the Truckload Volume Quoting screen in Tai TMS,
Navigation & Email Setup Check

Navigate to Shipments > Company Loadboard > Open the Truckload Quoting page of your shipment by clicking the briefcase icon under the actions column.

On this page, each carrier row displays a Mail icon.

Hover over the icon to check whether an email address is configured.

The system validates this using the Contact Information section in the LSP Carrier Profile.

Tip: Only carriers with valid email addresses in their profile will be selectable for emailing.
Sending Emails to Carriers

Select Carriers to Email:

Check the box next to each carrier you'd like to email.

Or use the checkbox in the header row to select all carriers with email addresses.

Click the “Email (#)” Button:

This button displays how many carriers you’ve selected.

After clicking, an Email Modal will appear where you can write an additional message that will be sent with the Carrier Quote request template.

Include Carrier Response URL Automatically:
-
Each email includes a secure Carrier Response URL.

This URL takes the carrier to a form where they can submit their quote.

Once submitted, the quote will appear in your Volume Quoting screen.

Carrier Response Management

To manually access or copy the Carrier Response URL:

Click the Pencil Icon next to the carrier.

Copy the Carrier Response URL from the modal to use your own email platform and manually send the link to the carrier.

If the carrier replies via the Carrier Response Page, the system will:

Automatically log their response in the Activity Log.

Pin the carrier to the top of the Carrier Quotes list, and you will see their offer amount under the Active Quote column.

Requirements & Setup

You must have at least one email address configured in the carrier's LSP Profile > Contact Information section.

Without this setup, the carrier cannot be selected for system-initiated emails.
