RoadSync streamlines payment processing for the logistics industry by providing a seamless way to handle transactions and manage cash flow.
Integration Source Setup
To enable the RoadSync Pay integration within the TMS, users must establish an account with RoadSync, secure a unique RoadSync Broker ID, and set up an integration source in the TMS.
During the onboarding process, RoadSync will supply a file containing the broker's payee list along with their corresponding payee IDs. It is essential to map this information to the Broker Carrier Parameter labeled "RoadSync Pay Carrier ID." This step is only required once; thereafter, any new carrier added will automatically receive the ID.
Load and Bill Approval Workflow
Approving the bill in the TMS initiates the creation of the load in RoadSync, marking the first crucial step towards securing payment for the carrier associated with the shipment.

Carrier Creation Process
- During the bill approval process in the TMS, the system will check if the carrier already exists in Roadsync; if it does, the load will be created.
- If this is the first time you are using this carrier, the system will automatically register it as a payee in RoadSync, allowing you to configure the payment details later.
- A valid contact email is required for successfully sending a load to RoadSync. If a carrier does not have an email address on file, the system will block the load from syncing and will generate an Accounting Sync Exception Alert.
You will also see an activity log indicating why the load could not be created in RoadSync
You can locate these shipments in the operations dashboard.
-
When transmitting information to RoadSync, the system will prioritize carrier contacts according to the following hierarchy.
-
Favorite Accounting Contact
-
Favorite Contact
-
Accounting Contact
-
First Contact
It is important to configure these contact details before approving the bill in the TMS. To learn more about carriers in the TMS, please click HERE.

It is important to note that the factoring company information will not be transferred from the TMS to RoadSync during the carrier creation process. This information must be managed directly within the RoadSync platform.
Resending a Load to RoadSync
Once you have addressed the accounting sync exception, you can easily resend the load by selecting the "RoadSync Pay Bill Trigger" option located in the accounting tab on the shipment details page.
Payment Processing
- Once payments are processed in RoadSync, a daily job runs each morning to retrieve all payments made up until that point.
- You can access and review all payments on the Bill Payment History page.
- You can identify payments coming from RoadSync by looking at the Check Reference, which will show the unique reference number you set up in RoadSync. In addition, the Check Memo will provide details on the Payment Method you chose within the RoadSync platform.
You can also review the same information mentioned above in the shipment activity log.
