Guest Rating


In this article, you will learn how to manage the guest rating function for your possible customers. This is ideal for exposing your own rates by showing what they can potentially get as a rate. This option is available on your landing page under quick quote. Here you need to add zip codes, and after you click on Get Quote, this will take you to where you can add the commodity description and Generate a Smart Quote.

Activating Guest Rating

  • You must have a guest customer and a guest staff. Here is an article that will show you how to create customers and staff Create a Company.
  • Access implementation guide under LSP.
  • Click on the pencil to edit the site Organization information and add your customer guest staff.


Commonly used for LTL shipments, the rates they will see will be based on the margins you add to your Guest Customer. Something to consider is that every time you create a customer, the TMS will add a 15% Margin as a safeguard to avoid you giving rates at cost price.

We will display the rates based on the customer's staff that you set up as the guest.

Disabling Guest Rating

You can disable this option by accessing the settings in My Organization under LSP and checking the box that says Disable Guest Rating. This way, you won't lose your previous settings if you decide to use the guest rating later.
