Carrier Scorecards

Generate a set of questions to assess the performance of carriers. This will allow your users to make informed decisions when choosing the same carriers in future shipments.

Where to Create Questions

Access the Carrier Audit Setup page under the LSP Tab.

Audit Questions

In this section, you will find a list of the questions that you have already created. Additionally, you will have the ability to filter these questions based on question category, shipment type, question type, and question status.

Add New Questions

To create new questions, simply click on the "Add New Questions" button, which will open the Create Questions modal.

From that modal, you will be able to create the questions you want your users to answer to rate the carriers' performance.

To add a new question, simply follow these steps:
  1. Enter your question.
  2. Choose a category, such as Delivery or Pickup.
  3. Select the shipment type.
  4. Determine the question type, which can be Star Rating, Bool (yes/no), or Multi-Select (multiple choices).
  5. Set the status to either Enabled or Disabled.
  6. Set if the question is required and if it will contribute to the carrier's overall score.

How to Audit the Carrier

The Pickup and Delivery audit options will be available under Cost Calculation under the shipment linehaul.

  • Once your shipment reaches the "In Transit" status, you can perform a Pickup Audit.
  • Similarly, when your shipment is marked as "Delivered," you can conduct a Delivery Audit.

Carrier Score Calculation

Every time one of your users conducts an audit of the carrier, the system will use their responses to determine the carrier's performance rating on a scale of 1 to 5 stars. A rating of 1 represents the lowest performance, while a rating of 5 represents the highest level of performance.

Based on the answers provided for each question, the system calculates the score for each question type and then determines the overall average rating.

The highest possible score a carrier can achieve is calculated based on the total number of questions you create.

Scorecard

You can access the carrier scorecard in the carrier profile. From there, you can view the scores for both pickup and delivery, as well as the overall score. Additionally, you will find information on the total number of responses, which includes the audits conducted for pickup and delivery.

Question Types

  • Star Rating: The score is determined by the number of stars assigned to the audit questions.
  • Bool: Choosing "Yes" will assign a rating of 5 stars, while selecting "No" will result in a rating of 0 stars.
  • Select: When creating a multi-select question, you can assign a score to each answer option, ranging from 1 to 10.

Note: Multi-select questions have a maximum limit of 5 options to choose from.

Carrier Summary Data by Date

Within the carrier's profile Score Card, you can access the option to review the carrier's score within a specified date range. By default, the timeframe is set to "Forever," but you can easily check the score for past months by utilizing the available filters.

You can also view the average score for the pickup and delivery questions that you have created.

Alternatively, you have the option to conceal this data by selecting "Hide Summary Response Data."
