This article will describe the Truckload appointment workflow and management.
Shipment Save
This section describes the workflow that will occur when the described conditions are met.
Truckload Shipment
A Respective Pickup / Delivery Appointment Date Requested Alert will be added to the shipment when an Appointment is selected as an accessorial
- Pickup Appointment Accessorial Selected: On save, the TMS will add the Pickup Appointment Requested Alert.
- Delivery Appointment Accessorial Selected: On save, the TMS will add the Delivery Appointment Requested Alert.
Appointment Alerts Resolve Workflow
- Pickup Appointment Date Added: On save, the TMS will resolve the Pickup Appointment Requested Alert.
- Delivery Appointment Date Added: On save, the TMS will Resolve the Delivery Appointment Requested Alert.
Truckload Dashboard
Under Booked & Ready
- “Appointment Requested”: If an active Pickup Appointment alert exists for shipments in the Booked or Ready status, the counter will indicate the number of results for this condition.
Under In Transit & Out For Delivery
- "Delivery Appt Requested": If an active Delivery Appointment alert exists for shipments in the In Transit or Out For Delivery status, the counter will indicate the number of results for this condition.
