Shipment Hold Alert
This article provides a guide on how to set up a personalized hold alert for your shipments.
What is the Hold Alert
It is an alert that enables you to establish a personalized reason for placing a shipment on hold.
Setting Up a Hold Alert
- To set up a Hold Alert, navigate to the alert tabs on the shipment details page and choose "Hold" as your desired alert option.
- Once you have chosen "Hold" as your alert option, you will be prompted to provide a reason for placing the shipment on hold.
- After the alert is set, the system will display visual indicators across the TMS, making it easy for anyone reviewing the shipment to see that it is on hold. Users can hover over the "On Hold" icon to view the specific reason for the hold.
The On Hold Alert icons will be available next to the shipment ID on pages such as Shipment Search, Company Loadboard, Create Invoice and Invoice Delivery.
Resolving a Hold Alert
To resolve the On Hold Alert, simply return to the Alerts tab on the shipment details page and click the trash can icon.
Additionally, alerts can be resolved in bulk directly from the Shipment Search or Company Loadboard pages.
