Shiplify provides accurate, real-time access to location data to help you identify LTL accessorials like residential, limited access, and lift-gate. Carriers, shippers, and 3PLs can now get aligned on which locations will lead to accessorials, thus increasing transparency and removing headaches associated with these fees.

This integration leverages Shiplify’s location attributes to identify limited access, residential, and lift-gate locations. We're proud to be the first TMS to integrate with Shiplify, giving you accurate, real-time location data to identify potential accessorials instantly.
This means:
  • Reduced accessorial costs: Know which accessorials apply before shipping, reducing unexpected fees.
  • Increased efficiency: Save time per shipment with faster, more accurate accessorial identification.
  • Smoother workflows: Our seamless integration with Shiplify makes adding this powerful tool to your services effortless.

How it Works

When creating shipments, you'll notice the Shiplify logo in the Origin and Destination sections. Once a complete address is entered, including the company name, the system will automatically verify the location data and apply the suggested accessorials, which you can choose to unselect if needed.

On any existing shipments, if you click on the Shiplify logo on the shipment landing page, you can view the suggested accessorials without them being automatically applied. However, on the Edit Record page, clicking the Shiplify logo will automatically apply the suggested accessorials, but you still have the option to deselect them if necessary.

This feature is also accessible in the front office for your customers to utilize, functioning in the same manner as described above.

Our system utilizes a combination of location types and attributes to accurately identify the accessorials relevant to each specific location. The confidence level in this determination drives the integration to apply the appropriate accessorial fees.

If an accessorial is selected by Shiplify, the system will create a warning under the Origin and Destination information section.

Confidence Code

Shiplify returns a confidence code with each attribute we identify. These two-character codes represent our confidence in the corresponding attribute. The first character (A or U) indicates whether we were able to confirm the location of the provided address. The second character (1-4) indicates our relative level of confidence in the attribute's accuracy.

Results That Meet Shiplify's Data Quality Standards

A1 results are those that we have confirmed both the location and applicable attribute. The tariff item is correct approximately 99.5% of the time.

A blank result (an empty list of shipper or consignee tariff items) indicates that Shiplify is fully confident that no tariff items should be charged for the location in question.

Results That Do Not Meet Shiplify’s Data Quality Standards

An "A" result (A2 - A4) means that we have confirmed the location.

A2 results are correct approximately 76% of the time have been location-verified, and we have a strong reason to believe that the corresponding attribute is likely, but we have not fully verified whether the attribute should be applied.

A3 results are correct approximately 70% of the time have been location-verified, and we have some reason to believe that the corresponding attribute is likely, but we have not fully verified whether the attribute should be applied.

A4 results indicate that we were able to verify the location, but received conflicting predictions about which attribute should be applied.

For example, if we received data from one source indicating that the location was a school (limited access tariff) and from another source that it was a residence (residential tariff), Shiplify would return the result with an A4 confidence code.

When an A4 result is returned, it is approximately 76% likely that one of the predicted attribute should be applied but we have not yet verified which one.

A "U" result (U1 - U4) can happen when the provided address was either invalid or ambiguous. Other times it is because the address cannot be located. Consider correcting the address.

U1 results are correct approximately 89% of the time have not been location-verified, but we have a strong reason to believe that the corresponding attribute is likely.

U2 results are correct approximately 58% of the time have not been location-verified, but we have reason to believe that the corresponding attribute is possible.

U3 results are correct approximately 33% of the time have not been location-verified, but we have some reason to believe that the corresponding attribute is possible.

U4 results indicate that we were unable to verify the location, and received conflicting predictions about which attribute should be applied.
